Card Guard was incorporated in 1986 and commenced operations in 1990. The Company is based in Rehovot, Israel, and has wholly-owned subsidiaries in the United States, the Netherlands, and Brazil, with additional office locations in Japan, and Italy. In November 1999, the company successfully completed an initial public offering in the Swiss New market. In January 2000, Card Guard acquired the assets of LifeWatch, Inc. a leading cardiac service provider in the USA.
