ROLE IN U-R-SAFE: Development of Speech Recognition Application
TELISMA is a new company created by spinning-off the activities
of France Telecom Research and Development (FTR&D, formerly known
as CNET), in the area of speech recognition.
TELISMA was founded in September 2000 by a group of five engineers
of FTR&D and was funded by 3I, AGF Private Equity and INOVACOM. As
of october 2001, TELISMA has grown into a 65 employee company TELISMA with
a product developpement site located in Lannion, France, and a Commercial
and Professional Services site located in Paris. The goal of TELISMA
is to be one of the three wordlwide major providers of speech recognition
technology by 2003.
